designing artificial personality

users of today's digital products get in contact with artificial intelligence almost everyday – whether it is a personal assistant on a smartphone or an algorithm in an application. this project explores the human perception of artificial intelligence and its impact on user experience. through smarter algorithms, users perceive an AIs so-called 'artificial personality', which becomes an essential aspect of human-computer interaction.

this thesis was created in a cooperation with the DAIMLER AG 2017/2018 and is currently closed to the public.
